Napoleon’s Imperium, 1798-1815 Board Game

Napoleon's Empire, designed for two to eight players, pits eight Empire Nations from the Napoleonic Wars against each other, divided into two Alliances locked in a life-or-death struggle for control of Napoleonic Europe.

The objective of Napoleon's Empire is for one Alliance to conquer the other by achieving either a Capital Victory (capturing key enemy territories) or a Battle Point Victory (based on favorable results and achievements during the game).

Napoleon's Empire is a team-based game! The key to winning Napoleon's Empire is your ability to strategize and work as a team with your allies. Each player governs an Empire with different strengths and weaknesses, with varying economic starting points and geographical positions. No two empires are alike! Everyone brings something different to the table, and in Napoleon's Empire, survival depends on strong partnerships to capitalize on your advantages!

But while no two empires are identical, the two opposing alliances are evenly matched. The slight imbalance of starting units is compensated for geographically and by the Empire's unique combination of special abilities.

The turmoil of shifting alliances and the ramifications of treaties, weather, and world events are represented in the game through 160 beautifully designed "battle cards" that play out the consequences of defeats on the battlefield. These cards balance real history and real-world events with the element of chance and the fog of war.

And with Napoleon's Empire, the more you play, the more your individual rank and prestige grow as you earn both individual and team ranking points with each game.

The average game lasts five to six hours, but you can campaign to play for days. And it's straight into the cannon fire or cannon fodder depending on your luck in battle, as an average game encompasses an average of 80 to 100 battles!
